To know Spinalba was to know that, although fashion can be bought, style one must possess. She never left the house without looking her best, and those around her never bought an outfit without seeking her advice. But her flawless appearance really stemmed from her tendency toward perfectionism. If you were going to do something, do it right. It was a trait she made sure to pass to her children.rn While working for the IRS Spinalba surely encountered many folks who would’ve preferred to be elsewhere. But a young Marine named John turned a trip to Internal Revenue into an opportunity when she caught his eye. Before long their taxes would be filled jointly. Before his passing in 1989, their lives were blessed by their children: Spinalba Collins (John) of Palmyra and Jeff (Mary Jane) of Riverside. Spinalba is also survived by the family pets; two cats: Zena and Meeki and two dogs: Gizmo and Princess.rn Viewing Thursday from 8:30-10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 at Jesus the Good Sheppard Church (St. Peter’s site), Riverside. Interment Monument Cemetery, Beverly.rn
