Mildred States
It is impossible to live pleasantly without living wisely and well and justly. In her life, Mildred was nothing if not pleasant. Although she graduated from Palmyra High School, she has lived in Delanco since her younger years. Before retiring she worked at Lockheed Martin in Moorestown. But well into her later years she was always ready to help family. When her brother took ill, she was there seven days a week to take care of him. And in better times she was always there for her family. Even her cat, Winnie, was often the subject of her affection. rn Mildred is survived by her brothers: Raymond of Delanco, George of Riverside and James of Robbinsville and her beloved cat Winnie. rn Come celebrate Mildred’s 79 wonderful years Thursday from 7-9 PM and Friday from 10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the service will be Thursday at 11 AM. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. rn

When I was a little girl, George and my sweet sister Shirley lived next door to Mildred, and I always thought what a very nice lady she was and a good friend to Shirley. George We are so sorry for your loss.rn Love John & Darlene
Aunt Millie was always there for anyone that needed her. Her joy was in helping others and she gave of herself so willingly. She was a beautiful person, always there with a smile to brighten the day. Uncle Bud, Uncle George, and Uncle Jim, I’m so sorry for your loss.
Millie was a great coworker for many years, one of the first people I met when I started working at RCA in 1977. and one of the nicest. I remember the baby blanket she gave me as a gift on the birth of my second daughter. My wife always enjoyerd talking with her when she answered my phone for me. My sympathies to her family/
