Linda M Clark

Linda M Clark

From early childhood Linda was on a pathway to marry her husband, Lew. She met him while he was in uniform, a cub scout. They were high school sweethearts. At prom time Lew wanted to go boating, but their mothers pulled together and Lew didn’t stand a chance. When they married, Linda was an executive secretary at INA. Lew was a Navy man and got transferred to Hartford Conn. Her boss thought so highly of Linda that he arranged for a clerical job in Hartford for her. Her pay was the highest in that office, the Phila. boss insisted. Linda wore many hats: she had a Real Estate license, did bookkeeping, instructed aerobics, was a girl scout leader and was a master cake decorator. Once while working for Holiday Inn she made a cake with the likeness of their logo. Her children bragged about their birthday parties and all their friends wanted to be invited. rnIn addition to her dear husband, Lew she is survived by a son, William (Alexis), a daughter, Jennifer (Michael ) Baus, her father, Thurman Petit De Mange, brothers: George and Todd Pettit De Mange and three grandsons.rnCome celebrate 62 great years Thursday from 10AM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where the service will be at Noon. rnDonations to Multiple Sclerosis Society, 30 S. 17 St., Suite 800, Phila., PA 19103 will be appreciated.

Dear Lou, Lewis and Jen,nThough we have not seen you guys in a while, we remember fondly the years we spent together! I will always remember the fun we had at the Peachwood swim meets while we scored and the guys were the referees. Linda was always a great friend and a wonderful mother. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss. Chris and Allan also wish to express their sympathy. She shall be missed.
