Michael Bruzgisrnof Delanco, formerly ofrnSecaucus, N.J., died Saturday,rnDec. 1, 2012 while serving inrnthe United States Army.rnHe served with distinctionrnfor two tours of duty in Iraqrnand one tour of duty in Afghanistan,rnwhere he earned twornArmy Commendation Medals,rnthe National Defense ServicernMedal, the Afghanistan CampaignrnMedal with two BronzernService Stars, the Iraq CampaignrnMedal with BronzernService Star, and the GlobalrnWar on Terrorism ServicernMedal.rnSSgt. Bruzgis is survivedrnby his mother, Harriettrn(Kramer) Bruzgis; his brothers,rnThomas and Christopher;rnand two nieces, Emily andrnElizabeth.rnHe was preceded in deathrnby his father, Thomas BruzgisrnSr.rnSSgt. Bruzgis dedicatedrnhis life to the service of ourrncountry, but also was a dedicatedrnson, brother, uncle andrnfriend and had a tremendousrnimpact on so many lives, includingrnbefriending and consolingrnof the surviving familyrnmembers of fallen soldiers.rnSSgt.
