Suzanne Jones

When it came to her family, there was simply nothing Suzanne would not do for them. As a single mother, she took raising four kids by herself in her stride. Even after they had grown they always knew they could rely on her. If they were a bit down or simply having a bad day she always knew how to cheer them up. In good times there was no place she would rather be than down the shore. Originally from Long Beach Island, she never tired of heading out on a boat or taking in the sun, even using Criso to hasten her tan. She was always up for a trip to the casinos. Fitting then that she worked as a Blackjack Dealer at Resorts in Atlantic City before retiring in 1993.rn Suzanne is survived by her children: Bradley Jones of Delran, Linda Jones of Delran, Douglas Jones (Pam) of California and Deirdre Searls of West Virginia, as well as by her grandchildren: Justin Jones and Jennifer Burkins.rn Come celebrate Suzanne’s 81 wonderful years (Nov. 17, 1931-Dec. 26, 2012) Sunday from 3 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church 2492 Andover Rd.
