Gloria knew Jesus and it tempered everything she did. With her pleasing disposition she seemed to be the kind of person you’d find working in a card store. Turns out she did. All the patrons of Spencer’s cards adored her. Anytime there was a family problem she knew the solution: cook a nice meal. Gloria had a sweet tooth: cream soda, vanilla ice cream and wafer cookies. Later years found her attempting to spoil her grandkids.
She’d married a guy named George; he may have been a little rowdy, but her gentleness and love of Jesus would change his ways. She is survived by her children, Lisa Tasker, Gerald Minguiz, Jason Wojnar and Nicole Rios; her brother, George Petroff, sister, Madeline Stilcher and six grandchildren.
Come celebrate 70 sweet and gentle years, Thursday 9-11 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be a service at 11 a.m. Interment BGWCD cemetery, Wrightstown.
