Mary Bowker
Bowker, Mary Elizabeth (nee Nutt) age 90 was granted her Angel Wings on Friday 11/14
Her final days were spent at home where she went peacefully surrounded by 5 generatins of family and love. Her interests included family, crocheting, Atlantic City, going out to eat and the arcades on the Wildwood Boardwalk. Mary was a longtime resident of Delran, NJ where she raised her family and lived until moving to Little Egg Harbor NJ with her son, Roy “Skip” and Pat 10 years ago.
She is survived by her children: Roy “Skip” and Pat Bowker of Little Egg Harbor NJ, Ida and Tom Vathis Sr. of Delran NJ, Martin “Butch” and Deb Bowker of Delran NJ, and daughter in law, Jean Bowker of Riverside NJ. Mary is also survived by her 12 grandchildren: Roy Jr. and Kathy, Lynn and Larry, Kim and Jay, Donna and Joe, Irene and Marty, Terri, Tom Jr., Brian and Stephanie, Brandi and Bob, Matthew, Annette and John and Maria and Rob along with 21 great-grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Martin and two sons, Martin “Joe” and Richard.
Services will be held Wednesday 11/19 at Sweeney Funeral Home 11 a.m. with calling from 9 to 11 a.m. Interment Jacobstown, New Egypt.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association, heart.org or Holy Redeemer Hospice, holy redeemer.com/hospice.

My sincere sympathy to all of the Bowker Family. Your Matriarch was so fun to be around. She will be missed. I remember she used to holler at us all when we were being noisey kids, and then turn around and ask us why were all being so quiet. RIP Mary.
My sincere sympathy to your family. We will always remember all the fun times with Mary at Lucy Price’s home in New Egypt. I remember her and Aunt Lou crocheting and playing cards. Now they had have fun again.
