His youth found him moving to Swedesboro. Carl graduated from Swedesboro High class of ‘58 and short time later joined the Army serving 3 years. Repairmen were never needed at Carl’s home: he fixed everything from plumbing to electrical. When his daughters bought homes Carl was, of course, always there with his tool kit. He served Swedesboro for several years as a police officer.
Before leaving for the military Carl worked at Netherby’s Station. One day he was smitten by Kathryn Hunt when she stopped to fill up. He did a little investigating and found her in Auburn. They celebrated 53 years together and were blessed with two daughters: Carla( Raoul) Parker and Diana (Travis )Wood, and 3 grandchildren: Erica, Gregory and the late Adam Parker.
Come celebrate 75 years Friday from 9am at Daley Life Celebration Studio where the service will be at 11am. Burial Eglington Cemetery. Tell a great story about Carl at lifecelebrationstudio.com.
