James Edward McConaghy

James Edward McConaghy

If he had a free moment you’d find him at Pennypack Park with a rod in his hand. Jim loved trout fishing. He was organized to a fault and kind of quiet but no one ever doubted he loved his family. Gilligan’s Island would have been just fine for Jim. He detested technology: no cell phones, no computers, no cable. You did, however, hear from him if the Eagles were on, he yelled for the good and the bad. He attended West Catholic High School and resided in the Northeast.
He is survived his children: Allison (Joe) Hink and Jaime (Kerry Slimm) McConaghy; siblings, Marion (Ben) Dylinski and Jack McConaghy; 3 grandchildren, Danika, Johanna and Tyler.
Come celebrate 74 great years Tuesday 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where there will be a service at noon. Interment Washington Crossing Cemetery.
