Vincent K. Musumeci

His youth spent on his family farm instilled a lifelong work ethic. Vince may have been a strict parent but it was only ever out of love. He coached his girls’ teams, took them camping and down to the shore and even hunting. Vince dropped a couple hard boiled eggs into his gravy; his meatballs were the best. Pizzelles were an all day affair; he’d sing Sinatra Christmas music and give the trimmed pieces to the kids and the dog. Some called it a fade, but most knew it as a slice, but either way Vince used it to his advantage. You could safely pick up putts within 10 feet: he never missed. He loved the outdoors and hunted deer, pheasant, duck and just about everything else. You never needed much of an excuse to get him to the casinos. Mornings were meant for Let’s Make a Deal and the Price is Right. Vince traveled all over as a salesman for VWR.

Vince and Nancy were blessed with three daughters, Christina, Laura and Julia and grandsons, Vincent and Noah. He is survived by his siblings, Sue (Ron) Caltabiano and Steve (Robyn) and special nieces and nephews, Ronnie, Ryan, Michael, Alfio, Tammy, Dana and Madison. He was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Pat (nee Wigglesworth) and a sister, Donna Casella.

Come celebrate 57 great years Tuesday 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday 9-10 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro. Mass of Christian Burial, Wednesday 10:30 a.m., St. Joseph’s Church, Swedesboro. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Woolwich.
