Rev. Schell’s wife never had to call a repairman. Pastor Jack was a mechanical whiz. As a high school graduate he took an entrance exam for courses as a electrical engineer. He not only passed the test but was told the test was a final exam for the course; the school had no further courses they could offer him. So he became an everything repairman. Eventually Pastor attended Bible College and began his true calling. He wore many hats with the Assembly of God. He pastored in PA, NJ, and De, worked with Teen Challenge and did radio and TV shows. His show was called Night Stop. His recording studio was so advanced that musicians and singers, not in the religious community, came there to use the facility. While with Teen Challenge he and his wife, Dawn, started the original choir that still perform throughout the country.
His attraction to his wife started in a Bible camp. Their love of God was mutual and led to 52 years of marriage. They were blessed with three children: Kimberly Arroyo, John Jr., and Christopher; and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by a grandson, Travis Schell.
Come celebrate 74 evangelizing years Saturday 10-11:00 a.m. at Living Hope Worship Center, Center Square Rd. and School Lane, Logan Twp., where the service will be at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

Til we meet again Mighty Man of God! Thank You & farewell!
Truly an inspiration and a model dad.
I experienced a small taste of his closeness to his son John Schell.
As a patient of mine undergoing an extraction while waiting in the chair to start the procedure, John’s cell rang every 3-5 minutes with his dear dad calling just to make sure his son was ok. I was almost moved to tears by such demonstration of deep love from a caring and very attentive Dad.
Pastor Jack,
A true man of God, that carried a true anointing of the Holy Spirit. Had the privilege of working with him and his family for a number of years. Loved his teachings and the insight that he had of the Word of God. Heaven’s gain our loss.
Welcome Home Man of God!
