There was never any question about her first priority; even in the hospital undergoing treatments Norma was focused on the well being of her boys and her heart soared when she got to see her first grandchild, Jayden. Norma knew that the ear was a powerful thing; she kept the conversation moving offering up her own thoughts but she was just as curious about what you had to say. She loved animals, the color yellow and crime shows but there is one thing that trumped them all…food. As sure as Mikey liked it, so did Norma. She was the go to parent on the boardwalk since Norma did all the rides. There is one thing that was clear to everyone and that was her love for her family.
Through a friend she’d meet a guy named Latney Bagby. Their relationship was blessed with two boys, Latney, Jr. and Carlos; she is survived by her parents, Ramonita and George Mendoza, siblings, Jimmy Mendoza, Tony Mendoza, Nancy Rodriguez, Migdalia (Bruce) Wilcox, Jorge Mendoza, Jr. and Diane Mendoza (Robert Tuppeny); 19 nieces and nephews and 11 great nieces and nephews.
Come celebrate 48 great years on Saturday, October 10th from 9-11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment Lake Park Cemetery, Swedesboro.
