To say her home was clean was an understatement: Rose was a cleaning fanatic. She claimed the only reason she hated to cook was that it made such a mess. Her life centered around her household, her late husband, George, children, Thomas, Patricia Thornton, John, and Catherine McNamara and in later years her 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. For 25 years Rose cashiered at the Phila. Airport Parking garage. Travelers are always in a hurry and can tend to be abrupt but Rose always took the time to make them feel special: for Halloween (which was also her birthday) Rose brightened their day with treats.

Rose was predeceased by a daughter, Joan Anderson Muniz and is survived by a brother, Walter Hish and sister, Mary Miller and her companion, Max the Bichon.

Come celebrate 79 great years Thursday 9-10:30 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Swedesboro. Interment Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Broomall, PA.
