Robert P. Welsh
Robert P. Welsh, Jr., 84, passed away on March 21, 2018 in his home in Sewell, NJ. He was born on December 18, 1933 in Philadelphia, PA to Robert and Jane (Drain) Welsh.
Bob grew up in Northeast Philadelphia, PA. He attended and graduated school there. He, then, enlisted in the United States Air Force serving nearly 5 years during the time of the Vietnam War. After being honorably discharged, he began working for Boeing as an electrician. He had a passion for his work which is why he continued working for them until his retirement. He was, then, able to pursue his other passions – traveling, doing household projects and shopping for anything and everything!
Bob married and is survived by his wife Elaine C. Breedlove Welsh (nee Janes). They were happily married for 33 years and even renewed their vows at their home in July, surrounded by friends and family, to commemorate their love.
He is also survived by their children Edward “Cookie” (Dolores) Breedlove of Philadelphia, PA; Linda Gray of Woodbury, NJ; Caroline (Tom) Gilham of Austin, TX; Tammy (John) Rommel of Millville, NJ; Amy Breedlove (deceased); 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews; and his twin brother, Clinton (Rae) Welsh of Ocean City, NJ.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway, Swedesboro, NJ 08085 at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 21, 2018. All are welcome to join the family at the Holiday Inn, 1 Pureland Drive, Swedesboro, NJ 08085 immediately following the memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to either: Bayada Hospice 603 North Broad Street, Suite 301, Woodbury, NJ 08096 or Childhood Leukemia Foundation 807 Mantoloking Road, Brick, NJ 08723.

So sorry to hear the news. I know that Bob has been sick for some time. Wish I could be there with you, Elaine. You are in our prayers. Please thank Kelly for us.
I’ll always remember Uncle Bobby’s quiet, kind hearted spirit. He never had a negative or critical comment about anyone but truly cared for and loved others as they were.
I got a chance to spend a little time with him in the past few years and my husband and I got to pray with him.
I’m sure he is having a great time with my Dad and all the others he is reunited with.
Dear Uncle Bob,
Conversations we shared were always interesting, and made me realize what a full life you had. At the end, there was suffering, and I’m grateful Aunt Elaine and her family were there to love and care for you.
I want you to know that I have wonderful memories of you, Mom, Dad, Andy and all members of the Kricher & Welsh family that were a part of my life growing up. I especially enjoy remembering family visits, celebrations or reunions. These memories usually bring me to tears from laughter when I think of all the antics that went on, and then just from missing everybody . . . and I will miss you.
Yet, I know our lives here lead us to a place where you will see them again . . . a place where you will enjoy everlasting peace and happiness and, of course, laughter, especially when you meet up with Aunt Theresa, Aunt Betty & Peggy Doyle . . . you can’t mention one without the other two.
I will always remember you fondly.

Uncle Bob, you and that jeep of yours provided more fun and laughs for the Pricoli clan, as did your visits to us when we were growing up. How we looked forward to seeing you! You always had a special place in our mom’s heart, along with Uncle Clinton. Fond memories from such a delightful uncle. Now you are resting in peace and joined with our beloved family members who have – sadly – also passed. May Aunt Elaine be comforted with peace from the joy of the love you both shared.
