Irene Z. Wilson

Irene Z. Wilson, age 80, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at her Plainfield residence. She enjoyed gardening and exercising. Irene is survived by her dear children Eric (Kathy) Wilson and Joseph (Dr. Joanne Lopes) Wilson; cherished grandchildren Eli and Lance Wilson and Cecilia, Joey and Frankie Fredricks; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Edwin Wilson; parents Dr. John and Catherine Zappala; and siblings Joe (Anna Mae) and Joan (George Corea) Zappala. Come celebrate 80 great years Saturday, September 16, 2023 at St. Clare of Assisi Church, 130 Broad Street, Swedesboro, New Jersey, 08085 from 10:30AM until the time of mass at 11:30. Inurnment to follow at Lawnside Cemetery in Woodstown, NJ.
