Christine Cavallo

People sought her healing during their most difficult times. Christine was a healer, using new age metaphysics coupled with her soothing nature in her counseling. Her clients would eventually transition to her friends. She kept them for a lifetime. Christine raised her daughter on her own. A loving mom, yes. Terrific cook, not so much. Christine wasn’t a strict mother, but she inspired her daughter to spread her wings and fly. Over the years they’d move all over the country. Everywhere from New York City to New Mexico. Along the way she’d expose her to all different religions and cultures: Hindu, Judaism, Catholicism. There was always music playing: a soundtrack of Streisand, Stevie Nicks, Mario Lanza, the Judds and the Rat Pack. She was a fan of musicals and Broadway Theatre. Christine was always creating: a little drawing, some crafting and even a little graphic design. She was raised in Manhattan and the Bronx, never losing the attitude. Later years found her in Washington Township and the Orlando area.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Russo; honorary grandchildren, Thoryn and Riven; her siblings, Camille, Diane, Mario, Tommy, Robert and Alice and her many nieces and nephews.
