If you found yourself at Pennington Park on any given morning you’d most likely find Jerry there. It didn’t matter if it was 10 degrees and raining, the “Kite Kritter” would be there to fly one of his kites. An electrician at Maguire AFB, he was always skilled with his hands. When at home he kept himself busy with any gadget he came across. Tim the Tool Man would have been proud with how fast he was to modify any piece of electronics he found. Perhaps he was not successful every time, but he enjoyed it anyway. Most years at Christmas he used these skilled hands to build gifts for his children. Whether a bike he made from spare parts or a toy box made from an old casket, he always saw to it that there was something under the tree. rnWithin minutes of meeting his wife Pam (nee Fama) they both knew they were meant for each other, it wasn’t long till they were married. Jerry is also survived by his children: Bill (Robin) of Elkton, MD, John (Chris) of Wilkes Barre, PA and Dorothy of Wilmington, DE, as well we his 9 grandchildren.rnCome celebrate 74 wonderful years at a graveside service Wednesday 11 AM at Monument Cemetery, Beverly. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Samaritan Hospice, 5 Eves Dr., Marlton, NJ 08050.

I THOUGHT JERRY TO BE A NICE MAN WHO TREATED MY AS FAMILY AS LONG AS IVE KNOWN HIM.I HAVE SHARED ALOT OF GOOD TIMES AS WELL AS FUNNY TIMES WITH THE HINDS FAMILY.IWANT TO SAY HOW SORRY I AM TO BILL DOROTHY JOHN.THE HINDS FAMILY MADE GROWING UP THE BEST DAYS OF MY YOUTH.
Jerry always seem to be a happy positive person willing to share a laugh and a story! It has been a long time since those days, but I can remember that like it was yesterday! My heartfelt sympathies to his family and those who love him. Oh yeah,and I used to hear his piercing alarm clock from across the street!!!
Gerald Hinds will remain in my heart until the day I meet him in Heaven. I miss you my friend……..

This was a beautiful memorial to Gerry, who was a very loved man from all whom had the pleasure of meeting him. He is somebody who really loved all persons and his beloved animals also. Pam will cherish the memories they shared .
I only met Jerry once when I drove up to New Jersey with his Aunt Shirley. He was a very nice person. So sorry for his lose. May God bless his soul.

We will all miss you! Everytime we take Christopher John to the park and see a kite fly or take him to fly one we will always know that you are there with us. You will be in our hearts always.
