Delran Residentrnrn Milton’s ways proved Blaise Pascal’s observation that “all men’s miseries derive from not being able to sit quietly in a room” was correct. If he said it, he meant it, but never saw the need for endless chatter. It would be easy to brag about serving in WWII or working for more than 20 years as a Philadelphia Highway Patrol Officer, but Milton kept these life experiences mostly to himself. But it was never a secret about his stubborn nature. When he had an opinion, it was his way or the highway.rnrnHe was born in Camden and raised in Philadelphia. After retirement he worked security for the IRS.rnrnMilton is the husband of the late Laetitia, and father of Genevieve Olivo (Frank) of Delran. He is survived by his grandchildren: Frank J., Jr., John (Stephanie), Joseph (Shelly), Kellie Laidley (Lou), Kristy, Patrick (Nicole) and Jeffrey, as well as great-grandchildren Isabella, Anthony, Christopher and Tyler.rnrnCome celebrate 87 regimented years Monday from 11 am at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the service will be at 12 Noon. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside.
