Peter knew what the important things in life were, and for him it was family. Having a fight with his wife was virtually unheard of, he’d drop everything for his kids and his grandchildren were the center of his universe. Blessed with the deepest sense of generosity, he was always the first to help a friend. His work ethic knew no bounds; colds, flus, fevers; none of them ever made him miss a single day of work. rnIn the 1960s a young woman at work caught Peter’s eye. A trip on the elevator gave him the opportunity to ask her out. It was not long until he and Mary Ellen (nee Halliwell) were married. At their home in Willingboro they raised their children Mary Beth Myers (Harry) of Riverton and Tim, Sr. of Willingboro. They’d also be blessed by their grandchildren: Tim, Jr., Toni-Lynn, Josh and Mary-Katelyn. Pete is also survived by his brothers Richard and Jim, and sister, Lillian. rnPeter’s 70 years were celebrated privately. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Willingboro Emergency Squad 398 Charleston Rd., Willingboro, NJ 08046. rn
