Frances Mullans

Frances Mullans

For Frances her family always came first. There was nothing she would not do for them. During tough times she was always ready to help. When her husband took ill she went to work at the Frankford Armory to take care of him, she was there to help raise her grandchildren and whenever needed she always had a sympathetic ear. But when times were good she was always up for an adventure. She loved to travel, driving all the way across Canada, and making it to every state but Hawaii. When back home in Delanco, even if her TV was turned to Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune or Murder She Wrote, her hands were always busy crocheting. Rarely seen without her needle and yarn, she loved to spoil her family with her homemade treasures.rnFrances is the wife of the late Richard Mullans, Sr., mother of Richard, Jr. (Judith) of Paulsboro and the late Frances McFadden. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as by her nieces and nephews. rnCome celebrate France’s 92 wonderful years (Oct. 5, 1918-Jan. 23, 2011) Thursday 6-8 PM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro, and Friday from 10 AM at Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside where the service will be follow at 11:45 AM. Richard and children, So sorry for your loss! Aunt Fran was a wonderful, sweet, kind, lady. I still have a blanket she crocheted for my son who is just about 40 years old. She truly did love her family and grand kids so very much!! Please know my thoughts and prayers are with all of you!

Grandmom Mullans…even though I can’t be there to say my goodbye I will always remember ALL the things that you taught Renee and I to do…from teaching us how to bake, to showing us how to sew and make beautiful blankets…I have wonderful memories and will find comfort in knowing you and Renee are together again…as my daughter continues to sleep with her blanket you made for her I will always have a part of you around…Joyce and Susan I am sorry for your loss…

I’m sorry to have just heard today the loss of such a wonderful woman. Frances meant the world to my mom, Aulene. Although Aulene had a short life, she spent so much of it with Frances or talking to her on the phone. I send the family and friends of Frances my sorrows.
