Carmela Yansick

Carmela Yansick

“One person caring about another represents life’s greatest value” – Jim Rohn. Carmela seldom thought of herself, rather she was always focused on those around her. Nothing was more important to her than her family. After the loss of her husband, she learned the subtle art of balancing discipline and encouragement while raising her three boys. Although she was a single parent, she did the work of two. When her mother took ill, Carmela provided the resources necessary to maintain a high quality of life. She brought her into her home in Riverside to care for her herself. Likewise, when her uncle was in a time of need, she was fast to open her doors to him. rn Carmela is the wife of the late Raymond, and the mother of Raymond of Hopewell, Ralph (Cheryle) of Cinnaminson and the late William. She is survived by her 7 grandchildren, sister Theresa Assante (Fred) of Riverside, daughter-in-law Lena Yansick of Delran, 1 niece and 4 nephews. rn Come celebrate her 84 care giving years (Mar. 18, 1927-Mar. 26, 2011) Wednesday from 10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the service will be at 11. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association PO Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.rn
