Thelma D Pidgeon

Thelma married a farmer’s son and took on all the responsibilities of a farmer’ s wife. She helped plant and found the time to pack vegetables for market. After meeting her family’s needs next came her church. She was a dedicated lifelong member serving on many boards. For 32 years she set out Communion weekly and was the treasurer of the Joy Circle.rn She met that farmer, Harold, when he returned from military duty. They got reacquainted when they bumped into each other at Snyder’s News Agency. They dated, often going to dances. He was not Fred Astaire but those times sealed their relationship. That dance lasted for the past 60 years. Their lives were blessed with two daughters: Ann Nordaby (Bill) and Jane DiBella (Mike), Grandchildren: Laurie Spears, Kyle Nordaby, Michael DiBella, JR., Christopher Nordaby, and Sam DiBella, a great granddaughter Karly Spears. Thelma is also survived by a brother, Albert Dupper, Jr.rn Come celebrate 80 great years Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro and Friday from 9AM at The Evangelical U-M Church, 14 W. Cohawkin Rd., Clarksboro with a 10AM Service.
