For Antoinette 93 was merely a number: she was sharp as a tack, had a great sense of humor, a happy-go-lucky attitude and loved to keep abreast of current events. She was a pious lady who attended daily Mass and said the rosary for most of her life. Her neighbors knew she had pride in her home: it was always spotless and boasted a yard full of flowers and a vivacious garden. The South Philly social network fixed her up with a boy, the late Frank. They were married while he was serving in WWII. Her prayers were answered as he returned home unscathed.
