Born in 1928 to Karl and Anna Eberhard, immigrants from Germany, she was the youngest of nine brothers and sisters. Growing up during the Great Depression, she learned the value of thrift as well as the ability to cook good meals as taught to her by her mother. She was always loving, kind, and full of patience toward anyone she met, a trait she carried with her to her last day. Bernice deeply touched the lives of many, just by her gentle and loving spirit. Her passions were her family and friends as well as gardening, cooking, strolls in the woods with her husband as well as the shore at Long Beach Island.
She was predeceased by her husband, William H. Treusch Jr. and her daughter, Marie. She is survived by her son, William H. Treusch 111 and his wife, Linda.
