Harry McIntire

Harry McIntire

He was never more at ease than when he was standing on the side of a pond or out on a lake in the middle of the night on his jon boat, angling for some big mouth bass. If you wanted to join Harry you’d better be up pretty early; he was out the door by 4 a.m. Maybe it was just his love of the outdoors; he had pheasant hunted in his earlier years and loved being in his yard making sure his grass was just right at his Laurel Hills home. A stray dog could do no better than to cross his path; he brought many of them home. If his T.V. was on, he’d most likely be checking up on the Eagles and Phillies. He retired from Mobil as a Utility Engineer.
He’d meet a pretty girl, the late Colleen, and share a 60-year marriage blessed by two sons, Michael (Melissa) and Mark; and later by grandsons, Michael Joseph (Maura) and Paul Jeffrey (Angelina) and a great granddaughter, Evelyn Grace.
Family will celebrate 90 great years privately.
