David A. Festa

David A. Festa of Riverside, age 78, passed away January 19, 2014, at home. Born in Roxborough, PA, he lived in Riverside for the last 15 years. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew M. Festa and Irene R. (Severns), and his brother Michael A. Festa, David is survived by his wife, Rebecca Betz-Festa, his five children from his first marriage as well as several grandchildren and a nephew.
David was a championship roller dance and figure skater, an extra class licensed amateur (ham) radio operator, martial artist, bowler, archer and photographer. He wrote lyrics and played music by ear, hearing a song once and being able to play the melodies on the organ. David also built computers and websites, both personal and commercial.
At his request, there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be scheduled after cremation.
