Diane Curry

Diane Curry

A stray cat could do no better than to arrive on her back porch. Diane loved animals of all varieties and had a myriad of everything from dogs to goats to ponies. A close second may have been her love of gardening; both flowers and vegetables and she loved British gardening shows. No matter how difficult the struggles, it was her joyous respite. She enjoyed a little classic rock, especially Thom Yorke. She was a graduate of St Joseph University and found a career in nursing at INspira Hospital, Elmer. Of course her real calling was as a mom; not the strictest but she raised quality boys.
She is survived by her sons, Sean and Ryan; her father, Ernest Staiger; sisters, Lisa (Ed) Kochanek, Julieanne Staiger and Christa (Neri) Hernandez; and nephews and a niece, Nicholas, Jake, Dylan and Kiara. She was recently pre-deceased by her mother, Dorothy Staiger.
Come celebrate 60 great years Wednesday July 17 from 10 a.m to noon at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro, where there will be a noon storytime service.

I was fortunate enough to work with Diane for 6 years at Inspira-Elmer on night shift. She had a beautiful smile and the nights were never boring when she was on! Diane was a great nurse and one of the best patient advocates I’ve worked with. Truly a beautiful soul taken way too soon. Blessings to her family. She will be truly missed. Sleep with the angels Diane.

I work with Diane for a long time. She was never afraid to speak her mind and tell anyone how it was or how it should be. When I worked nights with her, she would make me laugh so hard with just the look on her face. Priceless. She was an exceptional RN, advocating for all her patients fiercely. Will miss her smile. 💔🙏🏻 prayers and love and lots of hugs to her boys and family. 🙏🏻❤️💔
