Doris Wright

Doris Wright

As a young woman she attended Pierce Business School then went on to work at DuPont as a secretary. But Doris would soon find what she considered to be her life‘s calling. She was a wife, mother and homemaker for the ages. Doris was into nutrition long before it was a fad, favoring vegetables to cookies. Sundays found her gathering her clan around her dining room table. When school let out Doris headed straight to Sea Isle City and didn’t return til labor Day, though she may have taken her kids on some car trips to Canada, Washington DC and the Skyline Drive. She and her late husband, Jack traveled after they emptied their nest. They were even on a cruise ship for the infamous 1991 Perfect Storm. Doris was a charter member of Logan Twp. Senior Citizens.
She was the wife of the late Jack and is survived by 3 children: Rebecca (George) Kuhl, John (Marsha)and Christopher (Carol); 7 grandchildren and 10 great grand children.
Services will be private under the direction of Daley Life Celebration Studio.
Donations to St. Paul’s UM Church PO Box 133, Bridgeport, 08014 were she was a member will be appreciated.
