For Eleanor having grandchildren and great-grandchildren was a bargain; she gave them her loose change, and they gave her a million dollars worth of memories. And if she spoiled them, it was mostly with her time. She loved having them over for dinner, and was always ready to challenge them to a game of Monopoly or Trouble. From the youngest great-grandchild to her firstborn, she had a photo album dedicated to each. Many of these pictures were surely taken at her favorite destination, the shore. Although she never approached the water, nothing made her happier than strolling the boardwalk or watching her family on the beach. When back home in Delran, she collected everything from coins to snowmen, but Hummels were her favorite. And although she was anything but macabre, she loved horror movies. Whether it was Vincent Price or the Twilight Series (she was Team Jacob), her film choices were closer to monster fest than Driving Miss Daisy.rn Eleanor was predeceased by her husband Morrison C. Fields, Sr., and her son Morrie C. Fields, Jr. She is survived by her son Larry J. Fields of Delran, daughters: Lori Smoke (Brad) of Merchantville, Beth Knaub (Joe) of Riverside, her daughter-in-law Patti Fields of Merchantville, her grandchildren: Amanda Aaron and Morrie, Ryan, Larry, Jr., Stephanie and Billy Fields as well as Taylor Knaub, great-grandchildren: Jeremiah Fields, Emily and Elizabeth Bruzgis. She was the sister of Joe Stellwag, Dotty Carrozza and the late Betty Jungblut.rn Come celebrate Eleanor’s 77 wonderful years (June 25, 1933-Feb. 26, 2011) Friday from 6-8 PM and Saturday from 9:30 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the service will follow at 10:30. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park. She loved her family more than flowers, and having lost loved ones to cancer, she would rather have memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society 1626 Locust St., Phila, PA 19103.rn

I am so sorry for your loss, Larry, Lori and Beth and families. I loved looking at the pictures. She was a beauty. She did love the grand children and great grand children. She always talked about them. She also always asked me about my children. She had a great big heart and I will remember her love for the shore and your dad. Her devotion to him was truly a testimony of her inner beauty. I admired her for that so much. I will see you all at the services and know that even though I do not see you much I love you all.
