Whether she was being ornery by overhearing a belch and blaming her daughter or self-deprecating by claiming to be checking the transmission after slipping on the ice, she could take any situation and find the sunny side of it.rnrnBorn in Beverly, Betty was the daughter of the late Elton and Mina Horner and the mother of the late Elton J. Force.rnrnShe is survived by her sons, Samuel and William Force, and her daughter, Elizabeth Salber, with whom she lived in Arizona.
