Betty may have spent days at DuPont Co but that was only part of her energy spent. Her true love was horses. She and her late husband, Donald, bred, trained and raced trotters. They traveled the racing circuit in DE, NY and upstate NJ. It was while living in Swedesboro that they owned her favorite horse a Tennessee Walker named Colonial. With the growth in their stable more room was needed and they found the perfect farm in Alloway. All the while Betty remained dedicated to her job at DuPont and in fact was a Past President of the Veteranetts. rnBetty was pre deceased by her husband Donald and a son John, and is survived by granddaughters Kimberly and Erin Hunt, a brother John Nothdurft, sisters Mary Shiveler and Ann Zayac.rnCome celebrate 83 feisty years Saturday March 20 from 10AM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Hwy., Swedesboro.
