But you probably knew him as Buddy. From the days of his youth he was a standout. He made All State during his football years. When he returned home from the Navy he received immediate acceptance into the State Police. Frank was from the old school. He was primarily a homicide detective (True Detective did a story about one of his investigations), but also dabbled in undercover work. Prosecutors loved him as an expert witness. Frank’s later years found him using his talents as a private investigator. Of course life wasn’t all work; you’d find him out with his friends chasing par and he’d toss back a few with his friends at the American Legion in Williamstown.
He is survived by his wife, Diane; his children, Steven and Ann Margaret (Chris) Kleinhans; and his step son, William Jeffers; Frank was pre-deceased by his brother, Jack and his sisters, Marguerite Dupper and Caroline.
Come celebrate 83 great years Wednesday 9-11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro and bring your best stories and warmest hugs to Frank’s storytime service at 11. Interment Gloucester County Veterans’ Cemetery.
