Great man, loved him a lot. He always made me laugh and my greatest memory of him was when we were in Germany and Nik pushed his wheelchair into the pole and made the whole busy street in Germany laugh non-stop. Great times.
John Purcell, or as i knew him, Grandpop, lived a great life. Through his awards in the service to sitting at the dinner table making me laugh. Always a fun man who always loved to make a joke and laugh. I have many good memories of him. One that sticks out in my mind is when we were in Germany and my dad was driving, me my sister and my friend were in the back, and Grandpop was sitting in the front seat, and the snow kept coming in through the window. One other memory in my head is when me and my sister were driving him to the bank and he tried to jump out while the car was moving cause he didnt want her to go. I will miss him so much!
Mike, rnI am sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I lost my father 10 years ago and certainly understand the emotions. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts. rnrnPeter Sciortino
