Joe spent his entire life on the family farm: his happiest times were when his hands were in the soil. He spent 8 hours a day at Air Products in Paulsboro then came home and worked the land. His sons learned to make spending money cutting asparagus and milking cows. He loved his farm so much that he placed it into farmland preservation, making sure it will remain forever. He was a man of few words, but he loved to read. He kept up on current events and explored the world through National Geographic.rnHe was the husband of the late Mildred (nee Lewis) Father of: Mildred Arndt, Joseph D., Lewis, and Thomas, grandfather of 11, great grandfather of 17, and grandfather of 3 step grandchildren.rnCome celebrate his 95 farming years Saturday 10AM at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro.
