Josephine Tursi

Josephine Tursi, 92, of Riverside died September 20, 2015 at home. Josephine was a registered nurse and a homemaker and was active at St. Peter’s Church and a member of the Catholic Daughters for many years. She was an avid Phillies fan and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Fred; two children, Maria (Todd) Mudrick and Paul (Kathryn) Tursi and three grandchildren; Kirsten, Julia and Paul.
Come celebrate 92 great years Wednesday 7-9 p.m. and Thursday 9-10 a.m. at Sweeney Funeral Home, 337 Bridgeboro St. Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday 10:30 a.m. at Jesus the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Peter’s Church, Riverside. Entombment, St. Peter’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society, 101 Middleton Street, Riverside NJ 08075 will be appreciated.
