“Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from an indomitable will.” The strength that Lois possessed knew no bounds. She could make the greatest of life’s challenges look easy. And when it came to her daughters, nothing could stop her from doing what was best for them. Given, if you were in the car with her, she felt she always knew the best way to go, even if the GPS said otherwise. Never afraid to get her hands dirty, she’d be the first to roll under a car to change the oil. But when given the chance, she was always ready to catch a concert, spoil her dogs or simply relax by her koi pond.rnLois is survived by her husband Gary, her daughters Jennifer and Victoria Pallett of Riverside, her sister Maria Nemeth (Robert) of Cinnaminson and many cousins, nieces and nephews.rnCome celebrate 53 wonderful years Wednesday from 9-10:30 Am at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian burial to follow at 11 Am at St. Peter’s Church, Riverside. Interment Bethel Cemetery, Pennsauken. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to her daughters, C/O 294 Lilac Lane, Cinnaminson, NJ 08077.rn

I met Lois by offering to drive Victoria to CCD Class and that’s about the last thing she ever let me do for her. It was Lois who was always there helping me and everyone she knew. She was a wonderful mother who absolutely always put her girls first. She dealt with life with great humor at all times, and her patience and kindness were inspiring. She could tell a terrific story, shoot some mean pool, and she was always ready for a party. I am going to miss the huge smile she had whenever I saw her, her fabulous hugs, her sense of humor, her compassion and generosity and that wonderful laugh. Lois was a real person and a great woman and I am so sorry she’s gone. Regina
Alot of times you take for granted your friends and family ,not Lois and Gary.I am truly saddened to not be able to sit and visit with Lois on my trips back from Colorado,she may be gone but she is far from forgotten.Memories go back 30 years,of her fussing over the girls and dogs but she was also always there when you needed someone to listen to you.My heart goes out to Jennifer and Victoria you lost a great mom.To Gary i say i am here if you need a friend to talk to,you know how to get a hold on me.As the storms roil above me ,i take comfort in knowing Lois has arrived in heaven!No one else could cause such a ruckus.We love you and miss you Lois and hope that you find comfort in Gods arms.With much sadness………Mark Ptasenski and Jonathon Ptaszenski
Vicky and Jen,nWhen I prayed with your Mom, she knew she was headed for a beautiful place. Her words to me were about concern for the both of you. I told her you both would be alright, and I know you will. The strange thing is when I prayed for her I received an incredible peace. I know she is happy. It’s not the length of life, but the depth of life. If anyone had the honor of knowing Lois as I did, they would truly understand the meaning of the depth of life. Loving unconditionally, giving with her whole heart. Never expecting anything in return. This was evidenced by the way she dealt with her disease. She never complained even though she was in pain for a very long time, both physically and emotionally. She accepted and dealt with it mostly silent as she did not want anyone to worry for her. Especially her daughters. rnrnMy fondest memory is the first day I met my best friend. We walked a walk that started a 21 year friendship that will always be a part of my heart.
Lois and I were friends first, last and always. Thank you all for sharing your feelings and thoughts of Lois.

I enjoyed our discussions whenever she came to HVH to pick up “stuff’ for the pets. We spoke of you often. Today is the day we say goodbye to Lois.To those of us that knew her well,we know it is not goodbye but till i see you again.Lois was the type of person that stay’s with you no matter what.There are a few instances that are private and for my own rememberance,but i do know that at every gathering i am at from here on out that a jello shot may appear my thoughts will immediately go to the Lois.I feel truly lucky to have been able to spend time with this warm ,caring,funny[incredibly funny}woman.Gary,i wish i could have made it home to help.You are a great dude who lost a great lady and i am hurting for you.With a heavy heart…..mark
