If charisma is the transfer of enthusiasm, Marcia’s enthusiasm knew no bounds. Not one to stray from a gathering, she was usually the life of the party. Given the chance, she was always anxious to take a trip to Jamaica, Cancun, Virginia or any casino in Atlantic City. And although she loved to shop, and could’ve opened a mall from her closet, she enjoyed spoiling her nieces and nephews most of all. With an uncanny ability to see the bright side of things, her glass was always half full. But she was always happy to keep others’ glasses full while bartending at Tankers and Docks, both in Burlington.rnMarcia is survived by her fiancé Steven Palacshak of Mt. Holly, and is the sister of Joseph of NY, Robert (Daryln) of Riverside, Maria White (Steven) of VA, Frank (Jackie) of Maple Shade, Tony (Carri) and Annette Griffin (Brenden), both of Riverside, as well as many nieces and nephews.rnCome celebrate 52 social years Friday from 11 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the service will be at noon. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery, Riverside. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to Temple University Friends Hall Physicians Jeanes Hospital, 7604 Central Ave., Lower Level, Phila., PA 19111.rn

Marcia put up a good fight and deserved better than what she received, but we don’t always understand the ways of God. She suffers no more and all that cared for her can be assured that she appreciated all the sacrifies that were made and thanks all of you from above.
I’m so sorry to hear of Marcia’s passing. She was a lovely girl. This is hard because I watched her grow up from just across the street. I’m sure God has a special place just for her. rnMy deepest sympathy to all of her family.rnEmil Tuchrnfrom Cleveland AvernNow in Florida

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Marcia’s family and her fiance. I know you will all feel her loss. She was too young to be gone so soon.rnThe last time I saw her she had a big smile on her face while playing a slot machine at Philadelphia Park Casino. I will always remember her with that smile.rn
