Mike was a gentle giant and a friend to everyone. His greatest joy was making people laugh. His hands were enormous, and he used them to good ends; Mike could turn a wrench with the best of them, especially when he owned his prized 1972 Corvette. His home was full of pictures of it, but, of course, he had a fascination with all Vettes. He was a great student (Kingsway class of 1971) and segued immediately into the workforce, getting a job at Mobile and eventually Valero as a chemical engineer. If his T.V. was on he’d be checking out shows from the 50’s 60’s and 70’s. Of course, the same can be said of his taste in music; Mike had a soft spot for Doo Wop. He loved the Phillies and proudly defended the Bears while living in a sea of green. He resided in Pennsville but previously lived in Logan Township.
He is survived by his son, Christopher; and sisters, Patricia Monahon of Logan Twp, Barbara Conrad of Ennaus Pa, and Margaret Pantaleone of Nichlasville Ky. He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Pantaleone.
Come celebrate 72 great years Friday March 21, 10 a.m. to noon at Daley Life Celebration Studio, 1518 Kings Highway where there will be a noon service. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

Well said, and my Uncle Mike was indeed a gentle giant who was always there for family and willing to lend a hand to those in need. His sudden passing was beyond tragic, but his memory shall live on in the hearts of those who knew him well. You will be greatly missed Uncle Mike, rest in peace.
Michael, you left us way too soon my friend.
Your generosity and concern for others is sorely missed as such a kind and gentle person is rare stock.
Your work ethic, detail, pride and professionalism have benefited myself directly as well all you came in contact with at work.
I thank God for knowing you.
Pete
I first met Michael back in 1980 right around the time we started working at the old power house in the Mobil Refinery. Our friendship continued for many years, up until we both retired from the same refinery many years later. Michael made work enjoyable with his sense of humor, always keeping things lite, even through challenging times. After retirement, we continued to stay in touch and I could usually count on a monthly phone call from him. I’m going to miss those phone calls! Rest in peace, Michael!
My sincere condolences to the Pantaleone Family. Mike and my husband Ed were good friends. Although they did not see each other a lot over the years they stayed in touch. RIP Mike ❤️
My sincere condolences to all of Mike’s family and friends. May God’s peace and comfort come upon all like a flood.
I worked with Mike at the Paulsboro Refinery for over 40 years, several of those years literally on the same shift/crew. He was a great friend and colleague, but most importantly, a faithful fellow Christian brother in The Lord. Mike was not shy about sharing his faith, and he loved The Lord with all his heart.
Romans 10:9-10, 13 says….”9 if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved”…….13 “For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Mike believed and confessed this very thing and made a decision for Christ many decades ago. It is the most important decision anyone can make in this life because it determines where one will spend eternity. We can all be assured that Mike is resting peacefully in the arms of his Savior Jesus this very day!
Until we meet again, Godspeed my brother!
Good Friend and coworker, always willing to help when needed. Shared my stories in the 23 years at Mobil/Valero working together !
Mike was a true gentleman and friend. I will miss the long talks and all his jokes. Rest in peace my friend.
Mike was a good man. I saw him at most of the family get together as he was married for 33 years and together for 40 years with my cousin Rose. Mike loved her so much that even after their divorce they spent most of their time together. They built a life together even though they didn’t always see eye to eye. He was a part of my family too.
My deepest sympathy to all of Mike’s family and friends. May God’s peace and comfort come upon all like a flood.

Oh, this saddens me. Mike and I were always close in school because of our last name spelling. I saw him awhile ago in the Acme and we had a wonderful conversation. He loved his dogs.
