Nancy was a social butterfly. A quick stop out to the store lasted a few hours with all the friends she would bump into; she once attended her husband’s High School Reunion and within an hour knew more people than he. And if she wasn’t out socializing in the real world, she’d be doing it on Facebook. As a maternity and scrub nurse at Inspira Woodbury, Nancy was that co-worker who always cooked meals for all her co-workers. She made the best soups: corn chowder and chicken noodle. Some said she was set in her ways, those who loved her most knew she was stubborn. Either way, when Nancy made up her mind there was no changing it. As a mom she wasn’t very strict, but Dave knew she was always in control. Summertime was for the shore, crabs and fried tomatoes. She loved the sounds of classic rock (Zeppelin, Floyd) and her T.V was either tuned into medical shows (Dr. Pimple Popper) or Orange is the New Black. She was a proud graduate of Collingdale High School and a regular every year at Colls on the Cove.
A handsome guy named Mark somehow finagled her number at the VCI. She may have blown him off for their first date but after the second they were seldom apart. Within the year they were married. They were blessed by a son, Dave and she is survived by her sister, Claire.
Come celebrate 67 great years Tuesday July 12, 2022, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro, where there will be an 11 a.m. service.

In later years

This is exactly how I remember Nancy. From the first day I met her at UMH I felt like she was a friend. She will be missed by so many. My heart goes out to Mark and Dave.
Mark and David I’m so sorry to hear of Nancy’s passing. Prayers for comfort during this time. She was a very special lady.
So many fond memories, and good times we had working together. Enjoy Heaven my friend.
Nancy was a kind, thoughtful and fun loving lady with a good sense of humor. As kids we lived just around the corner from each other. We attended the same church, The First Baptist Church of Collingdale and the same schools , Harris Elementary and Collingdale Jr and Sr. High School, she was in the same class as my sister Denise, 1973. She was true blue to her high school and attended all of the reunions.
I’m so glad that she had a loving husband and son and that she lived long enough to see her son graduate college. Rest In Peace Nancy, you certainly deserve it. 💕🙏🏻
Heaven took her too soon, I am without any real words.. i was shocked that Nancy was taken so soon. She was a peaceful soul, she loved people as much as life.. The love she has shown all of us, this world will definitely miss. I send many Prayers to Mark and her family..
Nancy thank you for the laughs. Thank you for making our friend Mark so happy. You were there for me when I had my baby and encouraged me nursing. Thank you for being you. Tell everyone I said Hi.
Nancy was one of the sweetest people I know . We worked together at Underwood for over 12 years . I left in 1999. Oh how I’ve missed all me dear friends I worked with for so long . We were like a big family . I will forever remember the kindness they all showed when I lost my daughter . Nancy would sit and listen she knew my daughter because she was always at the hospital having dinner with mum . Nancy reached out to me and was so loving and kind as were most of my co workers . I was lucky to call her friend . I remember when she met her hubby she was sooo excited . She was made to be a mum and wife . When she got pregnant she glowed . She was such a happy woman . She was always there to help when I was floated to post partum .
I know how kind and loving she was with her patients . We all loved her to the moon and back .
My thoughts and prayers are with her friends and family . You will be missed Nanc .
She was a wonderful lady. She was one of the nurses that was in the delivery room when my grandson was born 15 years ago and one of my customers at the bank. Thankyou for all that you have done. RIP
Nancy was my great friend at Collingdale High School! She was always smiling, caring for others, and lots of fun to be will!
We lost touch after graduation when I move away. When I was finally able to attend a CHS reunion at the old school with Nancy, it was like the years stood still, we were back in High School again! She caught me up on so many people and things I had missed about Collingdale, my home town!
Praying God’s Peace that passes all understanding for your family and friends that will miss her dearly!
