Her career as homemaker took precedence in her life. During difficult times she was a rock. Her home was impeccably clean and even though she disliked cooking she gladly hosted holiday dinners. Her friends and neighbors will remember parties she hosted with her husband the late Tom, and certainly her manicured yard. She was a doting mother and grandmother and boasted perfect attendance at recitals, sporting events, concerts and school functions. She loved the Eagles and the Phillies: while she never shouted at the T.V. she was known to give them a motherly talking to. When not watching the games she loved games shows, crime dramas and movies on Lifetime. She loved the Jersey Shore and an occasional casino trip. Earlier years found her working in the linen department and Gimbels and Sterns. She is survived by her daughters Linda (Joe) Scafiro and Michele (Glenn) Stankiewicz, a brother Gus; a sister Mildred Pistilli; and grandchildren: Crissy, Nicole and Joey. Pre-deceased by her husband, Tom and son, Tommy. rnrnMass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday evening 7:00 p.m. at St. Casimir Church, Riverside.
