Sandra L. Richman

Sandra L. Richman

Sandy worked as a guard for DuPont at their Deepwater facility, but her real calling was as a mother and grandmother. She doted on her two sons, hauling them around to all sorts of activities. And when the grandkids came along, she took it to a whole new level; Sandy never missed an event. She was devout in her faith and shared the Good News with all who would listen and was active at Open Arms Outreach in Penns Grove. She was raised in Bridgeport, graduated Paulsboro High School and resided in Pedricktown.
She shared a 46-year marriage with her husband, Frank and is survived by her sons, Tobias “Toby” (Renee) and Gary; and grandchildren, Makayla and Cody. She was the sister of Cynthia Goodale, Ruth Ann Hall, the late Cathy Wilson, John Slusarski, Mike Slusarski and George Slusarski and is survived also by her large extended family.
Come celebrate 65 great years Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday 10-11 a.m. at Daley Life Celebration Studio, Swedesboro where there will be an 11 a.m. service. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Woolwich.

Thank you everyone for your heartfelt support and sympathy towards my grandma who I formerly called Naya. I’m just now reading all of these and they make me an absolute proud person to have such a wonderful grandmother whom of which you all also admired. “Naya” was an absolute awesome grandma to me in every aspect of my life. Whether that would be us just sitting on her porch talking about what’s going on in the world, or her spending her money on us for me and her to go to the boardwalk and blow it all on arcade games. Naya could also make the best chicken pot pie you would ever have people who’ve been around her, know that of her! She taught me a lot of things about everything in life as well. Being kind to others and have faith in what you do would definitely be one of them. Oftentimes I would get frustrated at things, but once I explained that frustration to her, she would constantly reassure me of the importance of just being genuinely kind to others and that doing good to others will result in good to you. It really helped me through that frustration. But As I got older we all know how we get where we wanna drift away from some people in our lives and get sick of them in a way, being 14/15 that was me at times I’m not gonna lie. We all get like that. Most of the time with our parents. Looking back, at times when I told her I was busy but really wasn’t or didn’t call her back, I regret it and would do anything to get another call with her. But, for the times that we did call I appreciate every single one, and hung out either at my house or hers and just ate sandwiches. Naya always cared for me and everyone around her also. Every time we did have lunch together she would bring handmade food every time. She Would do anything to make sure that I was being taken care of. And really cared about me. Thank you again to everyone for your sympathy for my grandma (Naya) she is praying good things for you guys / girls. Naya If your up there reading this, every word is meant in here. May God bless your soul!
