Sidney Jones

Jones, Sidney “Turtle” (nee Rode) died July 30, 2015 at age 97, at her home in Townsend Inlet NJ. She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Jones Jr., D.D.S. She was also the loving and laughing mother of Suzanne (John) Glomb, Sidney (Pete) King, Martha Hoerst, the late George W. Jones III, Richard (Cheryl) Jones, Jeffrey (Jeanie) Jones. Also sadly missed by her 17 Grandchildren and 19 Great-Grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her love of life, kindness, and infectious laugh

Calling will start Friday 9 AM in the Parish Hall at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 9425 3rd Ave. Stone Harbor NJ, where a Celebration Service of Sidney’s life will begin at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Sidney may be made to, Trinity Episcopal Church, P.O Box 31, Swedesboro NJ. 08085.
