On Thursday Nov. 14, Thomas I. LeConey of Willingboro passed away at Samaritan Hospice in Mt. Holly surrounded by his loving family.
A young Elizabeth Bauer noticed Tom standing on an uptown corner In Riverside. Their 61 year union was blessed by sons Thomas H. of Willingboro, David (Cindy) of Mt. Laurel and Brian (Karen) of Willingboro. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nancy Ann. He is also survived by his brother, Lester of Cape May and Joan Serio and John Berardy of Burlington and many nieces and nephews.
Tom never missed a day of work at Acme Markets or Amtrak. Retirement found him either catching fish or more importantly telling stories of the one that got away. It was wise to check with him before buying a jersey, he changed teams every 7 years. He went from the Raiders to the Jets to the Seahawks.
