Tom was a wonderful gentleman. I knew him from St. Francis in Hoboken. I took his place when he stopped working Bingo. He was among those great men in our parish who were examples to the younger generation. It has been 20 years since he was active in Hoboken and his work is still remembered.rnrnThanks Tom, well done!

  2. Fr. Ed Costello, OFM Conv. says:

In this year of the priest I want to recognize the very dedicated support Tom gave to the priests of St. Francis Parish in Hoboken and St. Peter’s Parish in Riverside. His friendship with the late Father Julius Toth with whom he traveled many times to Europe and whom he served so assiduouly during his terms as pastor of both parishes can never be forgotten by those who knew both of them. “In memoria aeterna erit iustus.”

  3. Lawrence Ryan says:

Tommy, you did so much in so many ways for us at St Peter’s Parish, especially for the school. Now you and Fr Julius are a team again: “Keep the Spirit Alive!!”

My Great Uncle Tommy,rnI only saw you several times in my life as a young child. But, yet, your visits are so clear in my head and were always very special to me. My only true memories are of great warm family moments together with you and all of your brothers and sisters. I cherish my Italian heritage because of you and because of the times that I was fortunate to have with you. You will be missed.rnLovernLisa rnMarietta, GArnGrandaughter of Jennie Desando
