William A. ReppertrnrnBe patient and calm-for no one can catch a fish in anger. With his outgoing and lovable personality, this was never a problem for Bill. Besides, when he was fishing or crabbing, he wasn’t concerned with the catch, but rather the relaxing time spent on the water. But when back on land, his focus was usually on those around him. To Bill, his nieces and nephews were like his children. Although he loved to joke with them, even once convincing them that Christmas had been delayed due to an elf strike, they always knew he’d drop everything to be by their side. At his home in Delran there was nothing he could not fix. Even if he did not have the right tool for the job, he could make that too. If a repair man was at his home, chances are he was lost. Blessed with the gift of gab, everywhere he went he met new people. He knew that a stranger was simply a friend he had not met yet. rnWhile working at Vadco in Delran, Bill began sharing his lunch with a young co-worker named Darlene (nee Chiaccio). Eventually, he convinced her to go on a date. Shortly after, their 38 year marriage began. He is also survived by his mother, Mabel of Marlton, brothers; Charles of Marlton and Bob of California, sister Charlotte Weldon of Cinnaminson, his In-Laws, Michael and Elizabeth Chiaccio of Riverside, his sisters-in-law Carolyn Scazzuso (Frank) of Delran and Michele Shelton (John) of Florida, Darlene’s uncle, John Vituscka (Tee) of Cherry Hill, and by his many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.rnCome celebrate Bill’s 70 wonderful years (May 24, 1940-Jan. 8, 2011) Friday from 8:30-10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Church, Riverside. Interment St. Peter’s Cemetery. Bill fought as hard as humanly possible, and would want that fight to continue, so in lieu of flowers, please give memorial donations to the American Cancer Society 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd.
