“Sacrifice, for the sake of those you care about, is by far the truest form of love” – Author unknown. Never focused on herself, there is nothing Bonnie wouldn’t do for her family. She oversaw her family during some rough times. And even years later, if you needed a quick meal or a ride home, she was only a phone call away. The words “I can’t” and “I won’t” simply were not in her vocabulary. Her actions always displayed her generous spirit. When a friend was nervous about attending an AA meeting, she went with him, and pretended to be in attendance to make them more comfortable And when given the chance, she was always ready to spoil her grandkids. She’d drive them around, take them on trips to see animals at local farms and even let them braid her hair. A lifelong love of the shore found her spending as much time as possible in Wildwood. Boating, fishing, crabbing or swimming, there was no adventure she wouldn’t take part in there. But when back home she could be found watching the Lifetime Network, any movie with George Clooney in it, or enjoying a shrimp cocktail at Red Lobster.rnThe driving force in Yvonne’s life has always been her children: Geralyn Goodwin of Delran, Donald F. of Delran and Dianne (John) of Hollywood, FL. But her life was again blessed by the addition of her grandchildren: Megan C., Brittany M. Jessica Y. and Donald W. Strain as well as Samantha Y. and William K. Goodwin. She is also survived by her brother John Povoluski (Perry) of OH, and her sisters: Jean Masters of OH and Diane Slomiana (Adam) of Drexel Hill, PA. rnCome celebrate 72 generous years tonight from 6-8 PM and Monday from 10 AM at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Riverside, where the Service will be at 11. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. rn
